The Seattle Seahawks are set to travel to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a week sixteen NFL matchup. The Seahawks come into the game with a record of 7-7 and currently sit in second place in the NFC West, currently sitting three games behind the San Francisco 49ers for first place in the division. On the flip side, the Chiefs enter the contest with a record of 11-3. They currently hold a three game lead over the Los Angeles Chargers for first place in the AFC West. Along with this, they are currently tied with the Buffalo Bills for first place overall in the AFC. If they are able to break that tie this week, they could end up with home field advantage in the postseason until the Super Bowl. With both teams having a lot on the line this game, it is a must win, and could end up being a very competitive game.

Seattle Seahawks Hope to Claw Their Way Into a Playoff Spot

The Seattle Seahawks are only half a game behind the Washington Commanders for the last wildcard spot in the NFC. Very few thought that Seattle would be in this position heading into the season. They were expected to be amongst the worst teams in the league, however, they have put together a very admirable season. They are in a great position to close out the year strong and squeeze into the playoffs, however, they will likely have to pull off a big upset this week to make that happen.

Last week, they suffered a tough 21-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are among the top teams in the NFL, and it is a very promising sign for Seattle that they were able to keep the game competitive. They will have another tall task this week against the Chiefs. They are unlikely to lose a shootout against Pattrick Mahomes, however, if the defense can step up and have their best performance of the year, it could be enough to give the Seahawks this game.

Kansas City Chiefs Look to Move Into Outright First Place In the AFC

The Kansas City Chiefs have exceeded expectations this season. It was thought that they would take a big step back this year with the loss of Tyreek Hill, however, the passing attack has not missed a beat. As long as the offense is clicking this week, they should have no trouble getting out of this week with another win, and one step closer to potentially landing home field advantage.

Last week, they narrowly defeated the Houston Texans by a final score of 30-24. It was clear that Kansas City did not show up to play this week, however, they were still able to escape with a win. It is crucial that they do not come out and play that same way this week against Seattle. They are a much more talented team, and if the Chiefs are not playing at their best, they very well could be upset.
