The Las Vegas Raiders are set to travel to Nissan Stadium to take on the Tennessee Titans. Both teams are coming into the game with a record of 0-2 despite many thinking that they would both be playoff contenders coming into the season. While the year is still young, neither team is off to a great start. The Raiders have had two tough matchups to open up the season. They faced off against the Arizona Cardinals in week one and the Arizona Cardinals in week two. Both of these games were competitive against very high-quality opponents. Despite what their record would lead you to think, things are not too far gone for the Raiders.

On the flip side, the Titans appear to be nearing a full-scale rebuild. The team has come out of the gates slow and no one has really stepped up to the plate for the Titans yet this year. As a result of this, they were defeated by the New York Giants in week one and were dismantled by the Buffalo Bills in week two. The Titans have a lot of improvements to make throughout the course of the season if they are going to make it to the postseason this year. However, there is still plenty of time to turn things around and a win against the Raiders would make for the perfect start.

Las Vegas Raiders Look to Notch First Win of the Season After Two Close Losses to Open the Season

The Las Vegas Raiders have lost two heartbreakers to open up the season. Tennessee appears to be in shambles and this could make for an easy matchup for the Raiders to get their season back on track. They have not been playing poorly through the first two weeks by any means. However, it has been just short of what it has taken to win. The Titans are still a quality opponent and could give the Raiders some problems.

Look for this to be a game where the Raiders offense finally explodes and Derrick Carr has a big day through the air. With big-name pass catchers in Devante Adams and Darren Waller matched up against a subpar Tennessee secondary, the Raiders could light up the scoreboard against the Titans.

Tennessee Titans Hope to Get Back On Track After Being Embarrassed By Buffalo Bills

The Tennessee Titans are coming into this matchup in a very bad spot. They have looked terrible up to this point of the season and were absolutely embarrassed in their last game against the Buffalo Bills. The game against the Bills got so bad, the backups for both teams played through almost all of the second half.

Derrick Henry has looked like a shell of himself after coming back from a foot injury that cut his season short last year. It is essential that the Titans’ offensive line steps up and protects Henry against a solid Raiders rush defense. Tennessee needs to get control of the season before it becomes too late. Coming into the year, they were slated to be locks for their division, however, they now have some ground to make up.
