The Green Bay Packers are set to travel to FedEx Field to take on the Washington Commanders in a week seven matchup. The Packers come into the game with a record of 3-3 and are currently second in the NFC North. On the flip side, the Commanders have a record of 2-4 and are in last place in a very competitive NFC East. While this game likely should be lopsided, the Packers have looked like an entirely different team this season. They have lost back to back games in which they were also favored. With Taylor Heinicke starting at quarterback for the Commanders this week, he could be the spark that the team needs to get back on track.

Green Bay Packers Look to Get Their Season Back on Track Before it is too Late

As previously mentioned, this has been a very rough two week stretch for the Green Bay Packers. First, they were taken down by the New York Giants in London by a final score of 27-22. Last week, they were taken down at home by the New York Jets 27-10. The Packers offense has greatly struggled without Devante Adams on the team. Since he has left the team, no wide receiver has stepped up and there is an enormous hole at the position. None of the receivers can find a way to create separation and it is forcing Aaron Rodgers to make almost perfect passes for the offense to function.

For the third week in a row, the Packers find themselves in a game that they should be able to win. They are a much better team than the Commanders as both teams are at very different points right now. However, there is a chance that the offense once again does not show up and the Commanders could make this a game. This could be a make or break week for the Packers. If they can not get things together against Washington, there is a chance that it does not happen this season.

Washington Commanders Hope to Continue to Make Up Ground In Very Competitive NFC East

The Washington Commanders are coming off of one of their two wins this season. They took down the Chicago Bears in Thursday Night Football by a final score of 12-7. They will enter this game without Carson Wentz at quarterback. After suffering an injury, Washington will be forced to start Taylor Heinicke. While this is not ideal, Heinicke is still one of the most talented backup quarterbacks in the league. He has proven in the past that he can win big games for the Commanders and we could see it happen once again this week.

On the defensive side of the ball, this is a very unpredictable matchup for the Commanders. While the Packers have gotten off to a terrible start this season, they still have one of the most talented quarterbacks of all time. They will have to do the best they can to force Rodgers to continue to play perfectly and they may be able to pull off a big upset on Sunday.
