The Buffalo Bills are set to travel to Met Life Stadium to take on the New York Jets in a week nine divisional matchup. The Bills come into the game with a record of 6-1 and currently sit atop the AFC East. Through the first half of the season, it appears that the AFC East is by far the best in the AFC this season. On the flip side, the Jets come into the contest with a record of 5-3 and despite this, they are only tied for second place in the AFC East with the Miami Dolphins. Both teams have been playing incredible football thus far, however, there is a clear gap in talent between the two rosters. Despite this, the Jets are a young and hungry team, and although they have been doubted through most of the season, they have risen up and played with the best. Regardless of the result of this game, there will be a major shake up in the AFC East standings.

Buffalo Bills Look to Continue Their Run of Dominance in Divisional Matchup

Through the first half of the season, the Bills have appeared to be head and shoulders above any other team in the AFC. Outside of a two-point slip-up in week three against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo has had a perfect season and have taken down some of the best teams in the league. They are elite on both sides of the ball, making it almost impossible to beat them.

On offense, Josh Allen has been performing at an MVP level and if he continues this level of play through the second half of the season, there is no doubt he will be taking home the award. The primary beneficiary of this MVP-caliber season from Allen is Stefon Diggs. Diggs has some of the best-receiving stats in the league this season and he has shown no signs of slowing down.

Defensively, Buffalo has not given up more than 21 points in a game. With Tre’Davious White activated this week, they could be adding a Pro-Bowl-level talent to what is already the best defense in the league. With Jets quarterback Zach Wilson already being prone to turnovers, this game could turn very ugly very fast.

New York Jets Hope to Pull Off Upset and Take Down the Top Team in the AFC East

The Jets are coming off of a 22-17 point loss to the New England Patriots last week. Despite the loss, the Jets are still having an incredible season, especially when taking into account what many expected from them coming into the year. The Jets were projected to be one of the worst teams in football early on in the season, however, they have quickly silenced the doubters and have shown that they have one of the brightest futures in the NFL.

After the loss of running back Breece Hall for the season due to injury, the offense seemed a bit lost last week and will have to make some major adjustments if they hope to keep up with the Bills.
